Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has strongly criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, saying he has failed not only administratively but also politically.

Tarar said Sohail Afridi had gone to meet former KP chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, despite previously using harsh language against him and accusing him of being a “stooge” of the government and establishment.

According to Tarar, Afridi approached Gandapur because his political standing had weakened and he was no longer in a position to carry the political burden.

Commenting on the situation involving PTI founder Imran Khan, Tarar said, “The situation has gone beyond control. Children are being martyred, while you are playing politics over which hospital Imran Khan should be taken to.”

He questioned the conflicting statements regarding Imran Khan’s health, saying that on one hand he is described as healthy, while on the other hand demands are being made to shift him to a hospital.

“Who are you people and where have you come from?” Tarar questioned.
