Frequently Asked Questions
Are these calculators free to use?

Yes, all calculators are completely free and require no login or registration. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.

How does the zakat calculator work?

All assets are totalled and liabilities deducted. If net wealth exceeds the nisab (52.5 tolas of silver), zakat is due at 2.5%. Gold and silver are valued at today's live market rate.

How accurate is the income tax calculator?

Uses verified FBR slab rates including Zakat deduction and Section 4AB surcharge. It is an estimate; always confirm with a tax adviser.

Are electricity rates the same for all DISCOs?

Residential tariffs are uniform under NEPRA's unified tariff. Fuel adjustment charges may vary slightly by DISCO and billing month.

Are solar panels worth it in Pakistan?

Most on-grid solar systems pay for themselves in 3–6 years, after which electricity is essentially free for 20+ more years.

Do filers and non-filers pay different tax slab rates?

No. The difference is in withholding tax — non-filers pay roughly double on property, banking, and vehicle transfers.
